Aché Bar
  (Centro Atlántico, Puerto del Carmen. Tel. ) If you tire of generic disco bars and want something a bit different, then put on your dancing shoes and get a taste of authentic salsa here.

Cervecería Atlantis
  (Local 70, Centro Comercial Papagayo, Playa Blanca. Tel. ) One of the liveliest bars in Playa Blanca. Atlantis attracts a good mix of locals and tourists and gets very busy from midnight-2am.

Cervecería San Miguel
  (Avenida del Varadero, Puerto del Carmen. Tel. 928 515 265) Popular with locals, this bar is especially busy at the weekends and attracts a more refined crowd than the disco bars on the strip.

Cesar's
  (14 Avenida de las Playas, Puerto del Carmen. Tel. ) One of the biggest discos on the Island, Cesar's starts to get busy after 2am when the smaller disco bars close. Likely to be the highlight of your nightlife itinerary!

Danceclub 928
  (Avenida de las Playas, Puerto del Carmen. Tel. 928 841 394) It's open until 6am, so Club 928 attracts the staff from nearby disco bars as well as those that just don't want to go home!

Divino Doblón
  (57B Calle Jose Antonio. Tel. 92 881 6829) Very popular with Spanish twentysomethings, this club doesn\'t even get busy until around 2am and stays open until very late indeed.

Jungle
  (Centro Comercial Papagayo, Papagayo. Tel. ) This disco bar is one of only a few places in Playa Blanca that open really late. The bar attracts a good mix of tourists and locals and starts to get busy at about 2am.

Niki Beach
  (Centro Atlantico, Avenida de Las Playas, Puerto del Carmen. Tel. ) This lively disco/bar on the top floor of the Centro Atlantico shopping centre attracts a young crowd of holidaymakers

Paradise Beach Club
  (Centro Comercial Columbus, Avenida de las Playas, Puerto del Carmen. Tel. 928 511 573) A perennial favourite with younger tourists, this disco-bar on Puerto del Carmen's main strip is one of liveliest spots around.

Ruta 66
  (Avenida de las Playas, Puerto del Carmen. Tel. ) The American-themed Ruta 66 (Route 66) is one of the biggest and most popular bars on Puerto del Carmen's main strip. Expect a night of fun and frolics.
