Like many Flemish cities, Malines (in French), or Mechelen (Flemish), is like a real open-air museum. In the centre, you'll find guided walking tours—just follow the coloured arrows to discover gems such as the Saint-Rombaut Cathedral and Palace of Marguerite of Austria. It's just 30 kilometres from Brussels.
